Data protection
Who processes your data
Eng Hand vir d'Doheem S.à r.l.-S, Zone commerciale, Bettembourg. Contact: info@ehd.lu or +352 691 174 220.
What we collect
Only what you give us: your name, your phone number, your e-mail address if you leave one, the address of the job and your message. To that is added your IP address, recorded automatically with each submission.
Why the IP address
It is used solely to prevent automated submissions and abuse. It is never used to track you or for advertising.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
To reply and prepare a quote: your request, that is, pre-contractual steps taken at your initiative (Article 6.1.b GDPR). To carry out the work and honour appointments: performance of the contract (Article 6.1.b). To keep invoices and accounting records: a legal obligation (Article 6.1.c). For the IP address: our legitimate interest in preventing automated submissions (Article 6.1.f).
Do you have to provide everything?
No. Your name and one way of reaching you — phone or e-mail — are required: without them we cannot handle your request. Everything else is optional and only helps us quote more accurately.
For how long
Messages and appointments are deleted after 12 months at the latest. A signed quote is kept for four months after its validity ends. Invoices follow the Luxembourg ten-year accounting obligation.
Who has access
Jeff Schanen alone. Nothing is sold, rented or passed on to third parties. Two technical providers act on our behalf, on our instructions and with no other use: Hetzner Online GmbH (hosting of the site and data, Germany) and LWS — Ligne Web Services (e-mail, France).
No transfer outside the European Union
Your data stays within the European Union. No transfer to a third country takes place.
No automated decision-making
No decision producing legal effects concerning you is taken automatically, and we carry out no profiling. The figure shown by the quote configurator is an indicative calculation only: the quote drawn up by a person is what counts.
Cookies
This site uses no tracking cookies, no analytics tool and no social network buttons. Nothing is stored on your device — which is why you are never shown a consent banner.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability. Where processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was done beforehand. A simple e-mail to info@ehd.lu is enough; reply within one month.
Data protection officer
Our activity does not require the appointment of a data protection officer. Your questions are handled directly by the manager, at info@ehd.lu.
Complaint to the authority
If an answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD), 15 boulevard du Jazz, L-4370 Belvaux — phone +352 26 10 60-1 — cnpd.public.lu.
